THE STORY:
when i decided to quit my big job back in 2022, a colleague said a similar version of this sentiment to me. never once have i regretted giving up a life of intense stress and grind for one with more ease and peace. looking back, i want to be able to say that i spent time with those i love doing things i wanted to do -- not making more money for someone else while taking abuse up to my eyeballs in stress.
